Pia Duran is a Filipina multi-disciplinary artist based in Mindanao, Philippines. She integrates the arts and public policies. She is now focusing on the impact phase of her Bantay Bukid (Forest Guards) film. It marries ecological conservation and the safeguarding of the welfare of environmental defenders. This project is recently selected among the top 5 on the Reimagine Social and Climate Action for the Young Global Changers Recoupling Award in Berlin, Germany. Pia’s works have gained global recognition through screenings at global assemblies, educational platforms, and television.
