Bio

Beto Rosero is a Colombian Film producer and programmer with a bachelor's degree in Social Communication and Journalism. He creates auteur cinema intending to promote social change and is a member of the Global Climate Storyteller Network, Global Impact Producers, and Berlinale Talents Buenos Aires 2022. Their projects have participated in markets and labs worldwide, such as Torino Film Lab, Miradas Doc, and Marché du Film. He has produced series, documentaries, and short films such as Causas Elevadas (2021) for RTVC and Two-Spirit (2021), selected by +60 film festivals worldwide, including IDFA, Palm Springs, and NFMLA, available on The New Yorker. He was a nominee for the 2022 IDA Documentary Awards and the Macondo Awards of the Colombian Academy. His latest production, Bandera Roja/Red Flag (2023) was selected by IDFA 2023. He is the EP of Guerrero Films and programming coordinator for Cartagena International Film Festival - FICCI.
