Bio

For almost 20 years I worked for the film educational organization LESSONS IN THE DARK, and created a strong educational framework for schools with each film. The film selection often featured documentaries. In 2020 I started as an impact producer in Flanders, after following an Impact Lab from Filmpact. I bring my experience of film education and distribution into my campaigns. I am always looking for a creative and innovative interpretation of the campaign and I think young people are a very important target group. In addition to developing impact campaigns, I strengthen the Filmpact team in its daily operations. Beside being an impact producer, I'm also programmer for the documentary festival Docfest in the Republic of Bruges. At Docfest we develop every screening as an inclusive and impactful event. I am trained as a social worker and find the work of impact producers incredibly important. So I'm happy to be part of this international network! See you soon!
