Bio

Thais Lazzeri is an investigative journalist and founder of FALA, a content and film production company that tells stories not to forget on human rights, the environment, and democracy. At FALA, we look for real changes, always. In a 16-year career, Thais has won 14 awards in human rights and the environment. She is the only Brazilian journalist to receive the Stop Slavery Award, from the Thomson Reuters Foundation, which recognizes professionals who stand out for fighting and denouncing human trafficking and slave labor worldwide. Thais directed and produced the documentary “Tomorrow is Today”, focusing on the climate crisis, and is in charge of six audiovisual productions in development. She is the director and impact producer of the Lie Has a Price project, which reveals the backstage - and hidden interests - of socio-environmental disinformation on digital platforms in Brazil. She is the author of the book “500 grams of life”, Ed. Beautiful Letters.
