Bio

I am a film producer and National Geographic Explorer based between Delhi and Melbourne. My most recent film, Child of Empire, a VR animated experience of the 1947 Partition of India, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2022, and won the inaugural “XR History Award” from the Korber Stiftung Foundation/VRHAM in Hamburg. It has since played in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and Forum Des Images in Paris, as part of an international tour. I also produced Lost Migrations, a three-part animated short anthology, which sold out three premiere screenings at the British Film Institute in Southbank in two days. My films have been supported by Arts Council England, Digital Catapult, StoryFutures Academy, Arts&Humanities Research Council, Unity Technologies, The British Council and the British Film Institute/Doc Society and Australia Council for the Arts amongst others. My work has been featured in TIME, The BBC, WIRED, The Economist, Reuters, Al Jazeera, Nikkei, NPR and National Geographic.
