Bio
Sini Hormio is a filmmaker and impact producer from Helsinki. She has worked in film and television since 2000, and during the last eight years has focused on working with documentaries. Sini is a DocSoc Impact Lab 2016 graduate. The impact films include for example “Just Animals” and “Force of Habit” by Tuffi Films and “Gods of Molenbeek” by Zone2 Pictures. Sini has developed a free tool for the documentary film makers called “The Impact Roadmap”, that is freely available (in Finnish only at the moment) as part of her master’s degree thesis in 2021. Sini is currently a Head of Industry, Impact and Outreach at DocPoint Film Festival.
