Bio
Sandra Saiedzh is a feminist media professional working in film production and programme management. She is interested in the space where storytelling and social change meet, and in the ways films can create conversations beyond the screen.
Trained as a sound designer and recordist, she later expanded into content production and combined close attention to storytelling with a practical understanding of production. She is currently Programs Manager at AFLAMUNA and Project Manager of AFLAMUNA Connection, the organisation’s co-production platform for filmmakers, producers and international experts. In that role, she manages an intensive programme of project development, tailored mentorships and one-to-one meetings designed to help filmmakers refine their projects and strengthen their prospects for co-production.
Her expertise includes impact producing, consulting and developing impact guides on issues including climate change, LGBTQIA+ rights, racial injustice, refugees and migration, women and girls, gender-based violence and human rights. She works in Arabic, English, Russian, and Ukrainian, and is based in Czechia.
