Sam Godfried is an impact producer and film producer from the Netherlands dedicated to amplifying underrepresented perspectives in the documentary landscape. After working as a freelance executive producer on award-winning films and series for Witfilm, Hazazah, and NewBe, he founded Yalla docs in 2020. Through Yalla docs, Sam creates space for narratives that challenge dominant viewpoints and inspire new ways of seeing the world.
Beyond production, Sam drives impact through strategic partnerships and campaigns. He co-founded Stichting Choas, fostering self-representation in media through community-driven workshops and events in Amsterdam. His latest project, Feis Forever, seeks to expand societal perceptions of hip-hop and cement its artistic depth within Dutch documentary storytelling.
With a background spanning creative entrepreneurship, filmmaking, and advocacy, Sam specializes in bringing the right partners together, shaping shared visions, and turning complex ideas into tangible, meaningful impact.
