Bio
Sabine M. Probst is an award-winning filmmaker, focusing her work on communicating environmental issues and solutions, the conservation of our wildlife and planet, and inspiring stories from people in the natural world. In 2022 she founded Seen Blue, a visual environmental communication organization. Seen Blue works with environmental organizations, scientists, and activists to communicate their research, work, and efforts to protect nature effectively. With Seen Blue's communication work, stories that would have stayed behind closed doors become visible. By making these films and sharing them, thousands of people get inspired and motivated to take action and care more about our home planet. With workshops, more people get engaged with ocean conservation and learn how to use art as a tool for it. Sabine achieved her MA in media design with her master’s thesis about “How to use Documentary Films as a Voice for Ocean Conservation”. For years Sabine has worked with many different ocean conservation & research organizations and eco-friendly brands to help them spread their stories through film and make their message heard. Currently, she is researching how to effectively use audiovisual storytelling as a communication tool for environmental protection.
