Bio

I come to the world of impact producing after 10+ years managing educational and social justice programs in the U.S and abroad. I also have worked on political campaigns and managed large scale events and conferences. I have long been drawn to documentary film and landing in the role of an impact producer has been an amazing combination of many of my professional skills. Since 2018 I have been the Impact Producer for several award winning documentary films namely The State of Equality (2020), Home From School: The Children of Carlisle (2021) and Who She Is (2022) all with Caldera Productions. I have also worked with ITVS and their "Stories for Justice" film series. As an Impact Producer I work closely with film teams to develop an impact campaign that aligns with their distribution and outreach goals. I then implement that campaign through screening tours, film festivals, development strategic organizational partners, community action campaigns and the development of classroom resources, action toolkits and discussion guides. I am originally from Washington D.C. and have traveled all over calling some of the world's large cities as well as very small rural communities home. I currently live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest that has deep connection to the Coast Salish tribes and on traditional homelands of the Puyallup and Nisqually Tribes otherwise known as Tacoma, Washington.
