Bio

Randa Hamo A cultural and civil activist in the field of civil society for several years. She holds a certificate from the Higher Institute of Trade and Financial Markets, and studies diplomatic and international relations at the Faculty of Political Science / Damascus University. Founder and contributor to a group of cultural and artistic entities and worked as Director of Programs for the Malva Center for the Arts for five years. During my previous work, I focused on developing cultural work, arts training and empowerment curricula, and I am part of a network of actors in the Arab countries region to support the cultural sector and an effective program for cultural management in conditions of war, and I participated in several researches, including the Musical Map of Syria. I am now working as a coordinator area in al Jazeera with Impact for capacity building and research development.
