I’m Ranja Ali. I am 23 years old and I live in the Kurdistan region, Northern of iraq. Since I was seventeen I started with photography and filmmaking and I made it to get awarded & nominated and attend over twenty international film festivals globally in (United States, United Kingdom, Spain, Poland, Amsterdam and more..) I directed and produced the short films of (Same Room) - (A Piece Of Land) - (Same Dream) - (Why Us?) etc.. I have been working and producing as freelancer since 2018 which is around 6 years of experience with local and international clients such as (ABC American, Deutsche Welle, Prime Minister’s Office of Kurdistan Region OIC - Deputy Prime Minister’s Office of Kurdistan Region, Grei Agency, The Smalls, Board of Investment of ministry in Kurdistan Region, HAMA Group, Ideas Beyond Borders, Visit Kurdistan, UNODC, UNFPA, UN-Habitat, French Institute of Erbil, Click Iraq, ID8 Media, AHK etc..) I have been studying entrepreneurship programmes such as (Five One Labs in Suli, Orange Corner in Erbil, Takween Pre-Accelator in Suli, Your Big Year, The Experiment Digital DYLEP etc..) In 2022 i founder the very first freelancing agency in kurdistan region, northern of iraq, named (Wedonet) which is a big network with over 500+ freelancers in 30+ skills of freelancing, we collect and connect freelancers to local and international client and we save their (Time, Energy, Money).
