Bio
Philipp Petruch is a Filmmaker and assistant director based in Berlin, Germany. From 2010 - 2015 he studied film, theatre and media science in Vienna which gave him a deep and theoretical understanding of film and other media. On the practical side of filmmaking he is largely self taught. In 2019 he developed the idea for his first documentary Film. Philipp Petruch most recently directed and produced the movie "Ernte Teilen". As a backpack filmmaker with a small team he financed the production independently with the help of crowdfunding, support from NGOs and other partners. Philipp likes to create impactful films that tell stories of inspiring people and contribute to social change.
