Bio

I am a journalist, producer, scriptwriter, impact strategist and educator with over two decades of experience in film and TV. In 2009, I founded Pinball London, a production company with independent cinema at heart producing documentaries and fiction (both features and TV series) for international audiences. Since 2004, I provide mentorship, training and strategic consultancy to filmmakers in Latin America, Asia, and Europe on a variety of subjects including producing, impact producing, gender and implicit bias, and pitching among others. I deliver these in partnership with international organisations such as British Council, Eurimages, CNEX, DocCircle, Sarajevo Film Fest, DocsSP São Paulo, GoodPitch (Argentina, Colombia), GOodPitch Local (Philadelphia), Impact Lab DocsMx, Thessaloniki, ProPro Austria, Los Cabos FF, BAM Bogotá, DocCampus and DokLeipzig. I was part of the 1st Impact Producer’s retreat in 2012 organised by Britdoc (now Doc Society). and have continued my training with Julia Middleton/Common Purpose (Cultural Intelligence), George Kohlrieser (Hostage negotiation) and Nova Reid (Anti-Racism). I am a mentor and member of EWA (European Women's Audiovisual Network), a member of the DPA (Documentary Producers Alliance), a member of BAFTA and the European Film Academy. I am one of the founders and directors of ARTEF www.Artef.org (Anti-Racism taskforce for European Film), and a Vice-president of the European Producers’ Club EPC.
