Okechukwu Omeire is an award-winning Documentary Film Producer, Filmmaker, Cinematographer, Editor, Movie Score Composer, and Photographer based in Nigeria. With over 10 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry, Okechukwu has garnered a reputation as a compelling storyteller, a skilled cinematographer, and an exceptional video editor. Okechukwu is a graduate of Federal University of Technology Owerri Nigeria, where he obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Water Resources Engineering. He has since worked on several projects as a documentary filmmaker, including the Generation Africa Documentary Film Producer (No U-Turn) at Passion8 Communications, which won him awards at the Berlin International Film Festival and Durban International Festival, as well as an Africa Movie Academy Award. In addition to his work as a filmmaker, Okechukwu has also worked as a Chief Technical Officer at 8281 Pictures, a Production Head at GOSGEM, and a Video Journalist at BBC News Ìgbò. He also worked as a Technical Support Manager and Operations Manager at Tizeti Network Limited, where he provided leadership and direction for over 40 staff in the Operations department. Okechukwu is a skilled project manager, having managed teams and logistics for projects such as the Christmas Concert with Sinach & Friends; Love Feast at Lagos, Nigeria. He is also an astute content developer and creator, with a repertoire of over 100 original film scores to his credit. Throughout his career, Okechukwu has been involved in various aspects of media production, including 5.1 Surround Sound Post Production, Sound Engineering, and Music Production. He is leading the charge in the silent evolution of music and sound design in the Nigerian Cine-Space, and has helped to shape the industry in his home country. Okechukwu is a talented and multifaceted professional who has demonstrated his expertise in the media and entertainment industry.
