Bio

Nicola specialises in environmental storytelling, documentaries and short-form production. Her work includes the award-winning digital campaigns #OurBluePlanet and #OurFrozenPlanet that ran alongside BBC television series Blue Planet II and Frozen Planet II. Prince William's The Earthshot Prize; impact campaign #WildForAll in connection with Netflix series Our Great National parks - in collaboration with Freeborne Impact, Higher Ground, WCS and Count Us In. As well as #SeaOurFuture, an ocean focused collaborative storytelling project with On Road Media that with its first campaign, set out to engage LGBTQ+ audiences in ocean heath in partnership with Attitude Magazine and Ru Paul's Drag Race icon Bimini. Nicola's most recent work has involved developing and implementing impact strategies for independent documentary films.

Nicola is continually looking to find new ways to tell natural history and conservation focused stories through the ever changing landscape of social media. Striving to reach new audiences beyond the conservation ‘echo-chamber’ and to encourage important conversations and real world change. Nicola lives in Bristol with her dog Otis, in her spare time she loves hiking up mountains, exploring new trails, swimming, dancing and climbing.
