Bio

Filmmaker. She directed FIDEL and TWO-SPIRIT, a Best Short Film Nominee for The Colombian Academy awards; and Best Documentary Short Film Nominee for IDA awards, screening at numerous film festivals such as IDFA, FICCI, BIG SKY, BFI FLARE, OUTFEST LA, PALM SPRINGS, among others. TWO-SPIRIT will be on The New Yorker Documentary platform in December 2022.

She produced CAUSAS ELEVADAS/ HIGH AIMS and was the Showrunner of TV Series in Colombia. She is working on BANDERA ROJA/ RED FLAG short film, and three feature documentaries, SOUL OF THE DESERT, FIGHTERS OF THE HOOD, and MY LIFE, MY BODY. Her projects have participated in markets and laboratories worldwide, such as Torino Film Lab, Good Pitch Colombia, DocMontevideo Pitch, NYT Op-Docs, Pulitzer Center, Tribeca Film Institute International Pitch, and many others.
