Bio

I'm doc filmmaker who believes in the power of film for change. I've been making films in various shapes and forms since somewhere in the mid-90’s. In 2020 I completed a Masters of Documentary Arts at UCT with a focus on social impact through film. I serve as co-chair of the DFA board in 2008-2009 and again 2020-2022, launching docLOVE film screenings and supporting docSHARE masterclasses. I'm currently programme manager for the UCT Sunshine Cinema Impact facilitators short course and co-director of the Climate Story Lab ZA. I've supported fellow filmmakers with impact strategies and consultations and have some short and long form documentary projects in the pipeline. I love docs, cats, clouds and baking bread.
