Bio

Merle Iliná is an activist and documentary film impact producer from the Mexican collective IMPACTA CINE. Merle has produced the impact campaigns of documentaries focused on truth and justice, gender and human rights issues as “Armed to the teeth” (2018), “To see you again” (2020), “Now that we are together” (2022), Toshkua (2022) and the short film “Banished childhood” (2022). She has also worked with DocsMX as outreach coordinator for Good Pitch Mexico in 2020 and 2022, and mentors projects to identify their impact goals and strategies. She accompanies families of missing persons and previously worked for the International Committee of the Red Cross. Merle reads tarot with a feminist perspective.
