Masha Shcherbakova is a film producer based in Kazakhstan. She spent two years as the executive producer of the Beat Film Festival, Russia's biggest documentary film festival. As a part of her job, she oversaw the national competition program and community development. Following this, she specialized in the distribution and festival promotion of documentary films,
including IDFA Winner 2022 - Where Are We Headed. Currently, Maria leads Impact distribution, including film screenings, impact distribution, and special projects at a global non-profit project, Alternativa, that has operated in Central Asia and Southeast Asia since 2023.
