Bio

Marga is a distribution strategist, impact producer and the founder of Twin Seas Media, a Boston-based boutique agency dedicated to provide multi-platform, creative distribution for independent documentary films and to help filmmakers connect with audiences through strategies that are transparent, fresh and collaborative.  Marga works at the intersection of traditional and non-traditional strategies to build successful distribution pathways for documentaries. With over twenty years of experience in film and television, Marga has worked with dozens of filmmakers, and award-winning films including TRACES OF THE TRADE (Sundance, PBS POV), A RECKONING IN BOSTON (PBS Independent Lens), A CRIME ON THE BAYOU (Amazon Starz), PONY BOYS (New York Times Op-Docs), OUR AMERICAN FAMILY (Sundance Channel, AMC+) and many others. For seven years, she led the audience engagement efforts at Double Exposure, a documentary film festival and industry event focused on documentary journalism.
