Bio

Liz is the Co-Founder of Black Sands Communications Ltd and works with her business partner on communications and campaigns that create positive change. She works with a wide range of clients across environment, health and film including the Stockholm Resilience Centre, Silverback Films, The Club of Rome, Wellcome Trust, Conservation International and AMOS Pictures (on the education and outreach campaign for an upcoming HBO/BBC/Wellcome documentary “Superbug”). Pre-consultancy life, Liz led communications and campaigns teams at WWF-UK. This included leading the global campaign, impact and education projects around the “David Attenborough – A Life On Our Planet” film and “Our Planet” TV series with WWF, Netflix and Silverback Films as well as campaigns on a variety of issues from drilling for oil in World Heritage sites to sustainable diets. She was also instrumental in creating The Climate Coalition’s Show The Love campaign, designed to engage centre right conservative audiences.
