Bio

Laura has been involved in the documentary industry for over 20 years. In 2019 she initiated the Impact Days : the first ever industry event entirely dedicated to impact in the framework of the FIFDH in Geneva: leading international event dedicated to film and human rights. This event, taking place each year in March, is dedicated to filmmakers from all over the world wishing to have an impact with their documentary films and connect to the numerous changemakers operating in Geneva (over 750 NGOs active in the region). It is composed of an Impact Lab for selected documentary projects, curated networking opportunities with NGOs, Foundations and International organizations and several other activities around Impact. Laura’s main interest is the intersection between human rights activism and documentary storytelling and all the amazing potential it carries with it.
