Bio
Krysta is an entrepreneurship educator and organizer of "Movies For Good KW", which organizes community film screenings in the Waterloo Region (Ontario, Canada). "Movies For Good KW" started with a film screening of SURVIVOR MADE, which was an event held in partnership with a local organization connected to the film's themes of supporting survivors of domestic violence. She hopes to create an ongoing series of events connecting more films and local organizations to drive change and create community around issues that matter locally.
Krysta is new to impact producing but brings previous experience in digital marketing, event management and education together to support this work. She would love to get connected with impact producers and filmmakers looking to distribute their work to Canada, and is always happy to learn from others and share!
