Bio

Kaitlyn Hamby is the Senior Impact Producer at Peace is Loud, where she builds and implements impact strategy for documentary films with an intersectional feminist lens. She has worked on the impact campaigns for films like Knock Down The House, The Hunting Ground, On The Divide, and The Armor of Light. Her experience in film impact campaigns led her and her team to build Collective Lens: An Impact Roadmap, in which they train documentary filmmakers and industry professionals how to integrate impact into their holistic practice. Previously, she supported the program team at Chicken & Egg Pictures, working to bring emerging female and gender expansive filmmakers to the forefront of the documentary industry. Her work in documentary film began in production and moved to the intersection of film and activism during an internship at Fork Films. Kaitlyn holds a B.A. in Digital Media Production from Florida State University, where she was active in campus organizing.
