Bio
As filmmaker and producer, Julie combines a strong visual eye with a commitment to social change. She is a co-founder of the Oslo-based production company Differ Media, where she works on a number of impact-driven projects exploring themes such as the climate crisis, gender equality, and migration. Julie was involved as a DP and impact producer on the climate feature THANK YOU FOR THE RAIN (2017). The film's international impact campaign for climate justice was awarded the DocImpactHi5 award. Julie is currently directing her first feature documentaries, AN ARMY OF WOMEN and STAYERS.
