Bio

Julie Keck (she/her) is a filmmaker and storytelling consultant based in Chicago, IL. She has produced over 20 web series and two features and facilitated dozens of workshops about audience engagement, film marketing, and crowdfunding at SXSW, Slamdance, the Chicago International Film Festival, Outfest, Northwestern University, New Orleans Film Festival, and more. She’s co-author of Social Media Charm School, a guide to film marketing for creative entrepreneurs. Julie is a Consulting Producer for Nia Tero’s storytelling initiatives, a nonprofit supporting Indigenous guardianship around the globe. She studied psychology at Knox College and earned her innovation-focused MBA from the University of Vermont’s Grossman School of Business.
