Bio

Julian Etienne is a cultural manager, film programmer and producer dedicated to fostering diversity in media as well as transformative encounters between cinema and audiences. For over a decade, he has been involved in exhibition projects showcasing independent cinema in the United States, Mexico and Italy. From 2018 to 2020, Julian served as a programmer and later as the programming co-director at Ambulante and currently sits on its Advisory Board. Since 2021 he is a fund officer at Doc Society where he supports filmmakers throughout their production and impact journeys.
