Bio

Jackie Turnure is an Australian/American Emmy award winning screen producer with over 10 years experience working an impact producer, helping filmmakers and non-profits connect with audiences and inspire them to create change.

Jackie's documentary impact projects include mens' mental health series MAN UP, ocean conservation series Australia's Ocean Odyssey, asylum seeker feature film SANCTUARY, refugee loneliness documentary ROSEMARY'S WAY, adult survivors true crime documentary, GHOSTHUNTER, men's mental health campaign BOYS DO CRY, women in STEMM feature film THE LEADERSHIP, David Gulpilil biopic MY NAME IS GULPILIL, native forests and Bob Brown feature film THE GIANTS, climate Action online series for teens STAY TUNED TO OUR PLANET, Lismore floods feature FLOODLAND and Fijian mens mental health online series FORGET ME NOT. Her current projects are the anti SLAPP legislation film SILENCED and male social perfectionism documentary POSTER BOY. Jackie's drama impact projects include detention centre drama series STATELESS, social housing series, THE HEIGHTS, Muslim comedy feature ALI’S WEDDING, modern slavery feature BUOYANCY, and Indigenous feature SWEET COUNTRY. 

Before returning to Australia in 2015, Jackie headed up the Los Angeles office of Think Jam, a digital marketing agency for major entertainment clients including Sony Pictures, Warner Brothers, Paramount, Lionsgate, MGM and Twentieth Century Fox. 

Jackie received a Master of Fine Arts (Film Production) from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts (Visual Communications) from Sydney College of the Arts.
