Bio

I am an Iranian-Canadian (BIPOC) impact writer/producer focused on stories that give voice to the under-represented, misrepresented, or otherwise overlooked voices from the margins. An example of this is my current feature film, "Brother, Man," a social justice film, inspired by true life, that gives voice to unprotected youth refugees and asylum seekers. Through the film's social issues and impact campaigning (or movement), my team aims to activate positive change in the larger community resulting in better treatment of (youth) refugees with respect to access to safety, security, and a place they can call home. In other words, a dignified life with access to fundamental equal human rights. Refugee rights are human rights after all. Another project, a hybrid edutainment TV series, focuses on regenerative agriculture as a solution toward climate change. The latter aims to foster awareness and dialogue around this issue within the kids and family space.
