Bio

Florencia's (she/her) work lies at the intersection of social impact, resource mobilization, and film. Florencia currently holds the role of Senior Manager of Leadership Giving at USA for UNFPA, where she cultivates and stewards major gifts relationships in support of global sexual and reproductive health and rights. As a cultural strategist, she has worked on impact campaigns for films such as To the End, On the Divide, Knock Down the House, Women War & Peace II, The Bleeding Edge, and The Hunting Ground. As part of her artist support work, Florencia seeks to center filmmakers who are currently underrepresented and/or underrecognized in the industry, and offer spaces to share knowledge, redistribute power, and build community. Florencia previously built and led Collective Lens, Peace is Loud's global artist support program, bringing film impact workshops, labs, cohorts, and presentations to hundreds of filmmakers worldwide. Florencia honed her fundraising, programming, and partnerships skills for almost two decades at organizations such as Peace is Loud, PEN America, the Rubin Museum of Art, the Poetry Society of America, and Nitehawk Cinema. Florencia is also on the board of The Future of Film is Female and the advisory board for the Global Impact Producers Alliance (GIPA) and Sleepy Hollow Cinema, has programmed for various film festivals, and was named one of DOCNYC’s 2024 Documentary New Leaders. She is a published poet, and was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She currently resides in the Hudson Valley of New York with her family.
