Bio
Felipe Haurelhuk is an accomplished producer and filmmaker with a strong track record across both major media corporations and independent audiovisual ventures. With 11 years at Grupo Globo — Latin America’s largest media conglomerate — he developed extensive experience in large-scale content production and strategic media operations.
He is currently the CEO of IDEOgraph, an independent production company focused on impact-driven storytelling and high-level audiovisual execution. Under his leadership, IDEOgraph’s short films have been selected more than 400 times across five continents, screening at major festivals from the United States to Japan.
Among his feature projects, Between Frames – The Art of Brazilian Animation was officially selected twice at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival (2014 and 2018), the world’s leading animation event. As an impact producer, Felipe has led socially engaged works such as Right There – South Africa, which explores the legacy of apartheid through the journey of a Brazilian police officer; and The Earth Head-On, addressing urgent environmental challenges through science, collaboration with Indigenous leaders, and artistic interventions in the Amazon and the Greenland Arctic Circle.
His short film Curly Power received the Golden Kikito — Brazil’s highest cinema honor — portraying the resilience of three Black women confronting prejudice. Most recently, his VR film Finally Me, about an elderly gay man challenging societal norms during Brazilian Carnival, was officially selected at the Venice Biennale in 2023.
Felipe’s work is defined by strategic vision, international reach, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to socially impactful storytelling.
