Bio

Erica L. Taylor is owner and Executive Producer of Taylor Productions and E-Motion Film. She holds major production credits in national urban radio, network television, podcasting, film, television commercials and voice overs. Erica’s entertainment career began in 2003 as National Producer and Associate writer for the Tom Joyner Morning Show. Between 2011 and 2014, she split her workdays, producing both the radio show and the NAACP award-winning television docuseries' Unsung and Unsung Hollywood. Erica has hosted rare interviews with stars such as Jerry Seinfeld, Phylicia Rashad, Eddie Murphy, Stevie Wonder, Kerry Washington and many more. In 2019, she produced The Invisible Vegan documentary and by popular demand, led to her current film, Red Alert: The Fight Against Fibroids. With a background in docustyle television, Erica recently served as Senior Story Producer for Paramount Plus’ reboot of the hit 80’s show, YO! MTV Raps. Most important to her mission, she humbly serves as an advocate for women's reproductive health under the Red Alert brand. In 2020, she was named the first National Ambassador of the Fibroid Fighters Foundation and USA Fibroid Centers, serving through national speaking engagements and virtual hosting. In June 2022, Erica was elected to the Board of the Documentary Producers Alliance, an international organization, and continues to serve as Co-Chair of the Equity and Inclusion Committee. She sits on the Video Production Advisory Board of Collin College in Dallas, TX. Taylor Productions is a corporate partner with the Her Nexx Chapter nonprofit Organization in Dallas, serving a growing community of women through a variety of growth resources and has recently partnered with Myovant Sciences.
