Bio

Elisa Mereghetti, documentary director and producer, began her professional career at RAI Corporation in New York. Has directed over 50 documentaries and several social communication campaigns with her company Ethnos, including productions for RAI - National Italian Television, various international broadcasters, NGOs and for UNDP - United Nations Development Program. Her films, shot around the world mainly in Africa, Asia and South America, focus on cultural and environmental issues, women's stories, social, anthropological and development subjects. She has received numerous awards both nationally and internationally. She acts as communication consultant for the international campaign Rights of Mother Earth and has launched the first impact campaign in italy, based on her film “5 nanomoles – the Olympic dream of a trans woman”. She is coproducer and impact strategist for the film "Pülö - bloodstream of the Kirike" by Christina Ifubaraboye, winner of two impact awards.
