Bio
Demie is a Manila-based film producer, director, and artist who works on documentary, experimental, photography and multimedia projects. Previously, she worked as researcher and segment producer for ABS-CBN DocuCentral, and as associate producer for independent film production company, TBA Studios. For more than five years, she was also part of the alternative and collective media group Tudla Productions, documenting marginalized and grassroots issues and screening their films in communities. In 2017, she was a recipient of the National Geographic Young Explorer grant. She also worked a video and engagement coordinator, film curator and impact producer for EngageMedia and Video4Change Network.
