Bio
Dan is a Cebu-based independent film producer. She has been producing, writing and managing the video production company 8thumbs Production, Inc. since 2014. Her body of work includes Abot Kamay(Within Reach), Huwebes Huwebes(Thursday Thursday), The Brief History of a Filipino Astronaut and Kataw. She is also a partner of the Active Vista Center where she helps in organizing film screenings and film labs under the Active Vista program. In 2019, she started teaching film and other multimedia arts subjects at the Cebu Institute of Technology - University in Cebu City. She is currently the co-festival director of the Binisaya Film Festival, an annual film festival in Cebu City and is the president of the Dakila Cebu Collective, a human rights organization in the Philippines.
