Bio

Growing up to the sounds of pop music and explosions, Cyril found a place to question, reimagine, and depict his environment and reality in fictional spaces. He began his career as a writer and actor performing in plays between Beirut and Paris. Early on, his work aimed at creating conversations around trauma, resilience, and finding hope. He pursued his studies in filmmaking between Beirut and Los Angeles and worked in script development with several studios such as Warner Bros, Universal Pictures, and Disney. In 2019, Cyril and his friends developed and implemented the Human Chain Lebanon. This national event gathered more than 200 000 people and formed an act of hope and unity during very challenging times. In 2020, he established CB Pictures, his production company. He is currently in post-production on Blush, Album, and A Letter to Myself web series, two feature-length films, and a web series that revolve around immigration, trauma, and reconciling with oneself.
