Cindy Makandi is the Founder of Tunga Media Afrika, where she leads the development of an innovative educational platform that uses African films to bring academic subjects to life and enhance access to diverse African cultures. She has over 10 years of experience working in film production, distribution and project management and holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in International Film Business from University of Exeter and London Film School. Throughout her professional career she has passionately worked towards creating visibility and strong viewership for African films within the African continent, and in so doing fostering Pan-Africanism.
