Bio

Charley Spaan (she/her) is an Amsterdam-based impact producer working at the intersection of film, and social justice. She began her career in PR and marketing for a documentary film distributor before moving into impact production with her first campaign for No Other Land (2024). For No Other Land, she organizes conversations within Jewish communities in the Netherlands and collaborates with Breaking the Silence, and Home Game (2024), where she develops a participatory theater project with young people exploring political disagreement through humor and storytelling. In this project she also collaborates with an academic researcher on dialogue strategies, connecting documentary, theater, and science. Charley has a background in grassroots organizing, with experience in Jewish movements and social justice initiatives. She sees her role as building bridges between creative and activist spaces, ensuring that films and cultural projects become catalysts for solidarity, conversation, and change.
