Bio

Carol Misorelli is co-founder of Taturana Institute, a Brazilian social organization that foster and promotes impact distribution of films. She has a bachelor's degree in business administration and international relations, a master's degree in visual anthropology, and a postgraduate degree in African history. At Taturana, she was responsible for developing impact distribution strategies for films such as: Sem Pena (2015), ParaTodos [ForAll] (2016), Chega de Fiu Fiu {Enough with Catcalling] (2018), Espero tua (re)volta [Your Turn] (2019), Sementes: Mulheres Pretas en Power [Seeds: Black women in Power] (2020) and Limiar [Threshold] (2021). She is also a facilitator and researcher in Latin America at IRIS - International Resources for Impact Storytelling.
