Bio

Bryan Simmons is an award-winning reentry practitioner, graphic designer, and media producer with a passion for restorative justice. Currently, he serves as the Films and Series Coordinator for Represent Justice. Previously, he served as a Digital Media Fellow and Producer at Second Chance Studios. As a justice-impacted-person and driven by his passion for social justice, Bryan aspires to share untold stories of other justice-impacted-individuals to raise awareness about the collateral consequences that returning citizens face and to bring about policy changes within the carceral system. Bryan earned his Master of Divinity and Criminal and Restorative Justice Certificate from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University. He also earned a Master of Sacred Theology with a concentration in Social Ethics from Union Theological Seminary.
