Bio

Brandi Williams-Munford is an Impact Producer originally from the Washington D.C. metropolitan area and now based in Brooklyn. She is dedicated to driving social impact, blending academic insights with professional experience to make a meaningful difference. Her impact areas include education, mass incarceration and criminal justice reform, racial injustice, and environmental justice. Brandi's passion for social impact began with an editorial internship at News For Young Activists Today, a former publication dedicated to raising awareness about global conflicts and marginalized groups. This experience led to an internship at the office of the Secretary of the United States Senate, further fueling her commitment to social causes. From June 2021 to May 2022, Brandi worked as a Social Impact Producer at YEA! Impact. In this role, she tracked and reported campaign data for the documentary Since I Been Down, organized over 50 marketing events, managed email newsletters, and monitored press coverage. Her efforts were instrumental in raising awareness about criminal justice reform and educational initiatives for incarcerated individuals. She also co-produced content strategies and established partnerships to amplify the campaign’s reach. Currently, Brandi serves as a Marketing & Business Development Coordinator at Debevoise & Plimpton. Since August 2022, she has led the creation of marketing materials, collaborated with cross-functional teams, and developed marketing strategies based on market data. She also builds relationships with stakeholders, conducts research for leads, and coordinates events with meticulous attention to budget, venue, and promotion. Brandi is committed to leveraging her skills and experiences to advocate for and drive meaningful change in her core areas of interest.
