Bio

Brahmantyo Putra is a documentary filmmaker and impact producer. Driven by a passion for humanitarian narratives, he aims to illuminate social, cultural, and political issues through his films and screenings. In 2020, he co-founded Seven10 Media, a Southeast Asian documentary production service based in Jakarta, as well as Stories of Us, a platform aimed at uplifting emerging voices in the visual arts. Recognizing the challenges within Indonesia's film lifecycle, Brahmantyo shifted his focus to impact producing and campaigns, seeking to connect stories with their intended audiences in meaningful ways. Recently, he participated in the Good Pitch Indonesia program in both 2023 and 2024, and he showcased two of his films—Teguh (2022) and To Face My Father in Jambi (2024)—at the industry pitch program during the Movies that Matter Festival 2024 in The Hague, Netherlands. Additionally, he is a member of Klub Alteraksi, a vibrant space for film screenings and idea exchanges that encourages participants to reflect on new perspectives and actionable insights to enrich their daily lives.
