Bio

Spanish-Venezuelan filmmaker with a background in Political Science and Anthropology. Together with a multidisciplinary and international team, he founded Mecha, a creative cooperative focused on social impact in different art media. Since then he has participated as a researcher, animator, editor, producer, and co-director in projects that have addressed topics like reconciliation, social economy, education, peace, and social rights. His work has been selected and awarded in international festivals such as Annecy Festival (France), DocMontevideo (Uruguay), MiradasDoc (Spain), Guadalajara Film Festival (Mexico), DokPro München (Germany) among others. He has received training workshops at Anidox Workshop (Denmark), ESoDoc (Norway, Italy, Lithuania), and more recently DoccoLabs Acción! (Colombia).

For the past four years, he is part of the impact project A Piece of Peace an impact project with a documentary animation series that aims at reconciliation in Colombian society after the peace agreements.
