Bio
I am a filmmaker, event organizer, and impact strategist with a strong focus on using storytelling as a tool for social change. Currently serving as a course coordinator at Zahir Raihan Film Institute, I am passionate about nurturing emerging filmmakers and fostering creative expression. My expertise lies in creating impactful narratives around critical issues such as climate change, food insecurity, gender violence, human rights, and education. One of my notable projects includes working with ActionAid Bangladesh on a film titled Interventions to Reduce the Burden of Unpaid Care Work (UCW), where I highlighted the social and economic challenges faced by women in unpaid labor. This experience reinforced my belief in the power of film to bring attention to often-overlooked issues and drive meaningful action. Through my participation in platforms like the Doc Impact Lab, organized by Dhaka Doc Lab in 2024, I have honed my skills in designing outreach strategies that ensure stories not only resonate but also lead to real-world impact. My approach combines creative storytelling with thoughtful impact strategies that target long-term change. I am excited to join the GIPA community, where I aim to contribute my knowledge and collaborate with fellow impact producers to amplify diverse voices and drive collective progress.
