Anna Gudkova is a film producer, creator and curator of innovative educational programs. She always considered the creation of structures for international integration and the introduction of European models, practices and values in the territories of the post-Soviet space, forced to overcome the consequences of existence in a totalitarian colonial system as her main goal and mission. For almost 20 years, Anna Gudkova has made dozens of feature films and series – her films were shown in Cannes, Berlin and other world film festivals and markets. In parallel with her producers’ career, Anna established an international educational program for emerging filmmakers in CIS-countries with significant partners from all over the world (British Council, Goethe institute, TFL etc). Anna wrote and published the first manuaI on pitching in Russia which became a bestseller. In 2022 Gudkova spoke against full-scale invasion in Ukrainе, left Russia and became a Head of the educational department of the Alternativa Film Project. She organized the first Impact labs in Central Asia (in cooperation with Think Film Impact production company, Movies that matter film festival, Docsociety, GIPA and Internews) as well as training for teenagers from Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
