Ameenah A. Sawwan is a proficient advocacy and campaigns trainer and consultant based in Berlin with over ten years of experience in advocacy, campaigning, communication, and media across the MENA region. She currently leads the work on justice and accountability in Syria at The Syria Campaign, a human rights and advocacy group. Her expertise extends to providing training and mentorship to local initiatives and activists in the region. In addition, Ameenah works with the Yemeni Archive, a leading archiving and advocacy organization that exposes human rights violations in Yemen, where she works on the program's development.
