Bio

With over ten years documentary experience, Abigail is an Emmy award-winning producer at the UK-based production company Violet Films, best known for the Oscar® winning Netflix Original, ‘The White Helmets’, and the Oscar® nominated ‘Virunga’. She produced the powerful Emmy-winning Nat Geo short, ‘The Nightcrawlers’, and co-produced Orlando von Einsiedel and Joanna Natasegara’s BIFA-winning ‘Evelyn’, and Petra Costa’s acclaimed Academy Award® nominated feature doc, ‘The Edge of Democracy’, which launched on Netflix in 2019. She is currently working on Waad al Kateab’s feature doc about the Olympic Refugee Team, and the Netflix doc series, ‘Heart of Invictus’. Abigail is a Doc Society Impact Fellow and has worked across hard hitting impact campaigns for a number of films including, No Fire Zone, Virunga, The Borneo Case, and Human Flow. She has also worked as part of the communications team for Virunga National Park.
